About three months ago our family moved to a smaller house. I couldn't find a good location for my three potted plants, so I placed them on top of the refrigerator. This morning as I opened the fridge to get out the milk, one of the plants fell to the floor. Because I was still holding on to the door handle of the fridge my initial response was to quickly shut the door. This reaction caused dirt from the pot to scatter everywhere and cover almost every shelf in the refrigerator.
Apparently someone had moved one of the plants forward while they were getting something from the cabinet above the fridge last night and did not bother to scoot it back.
